Involved as a consultant on the Soundfoms project by Flanagan Lawrence Architects. First deployed at the London 2012 Olympics, the acoustically formed demountable stage was designed to be mobile and easy to assemble whilst also providing optimum acoustic conditions for a range of music types. The project synthesised aesthetic and preformative qualities and was designed in the manner of an instrument. This involved close collaboration with number of specialists including composers and acoustic engineers and the integration of lightweight structure and membrane technologies.
